Finnish continues to lead happiness in the world, while Spaniards are a bit more unhappy

On the occasion of World Happiness Day, the UN places Finland for the eighth consecutive year at the head. Spain falls from position 36 to 38 and Afghanistan – with the Taliban in power – repeats in the last position and highlights above all the unhappiness of women. Ahead of Spain are countries like Kuwait, Israel or El Salvador.

The happiness of Americans – with Trump in power since January – also suffers in the last yearregistering its worst brand to position 24 of the table (in 2011 it held the number 11).

Attracts attention that Russia, at war for more than three years with Ukraine, has promoted several positions until 66. While happiness in Ukraine has dropped six positions. And as for the Palestinians, with Israel bombing Gaza for almost a year and a half, they have seen how their happiness collapses until the 108th position.

In Europe, he stands out The Netherlands that go up to fifth position and, together with Norway and Luxembourg, complete the group of European countries in the Top 10 of the United Nations Ranking.

And Costa Rica, in the sixth place, and Mexico in the tenth, debut among the ten happier countries on the planet.

Experts ensure vital satisfaction has a lot to do with the proper functioning of a society: Health assistance, social security, access to the labor market, education and per capita income.
