Fidelis Ilechukwu, the coach of Rangers, aims to bounce back in the upcoming oriental derby

Following their recent loss to Katsina United, Rangers’ head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu, emphasizes the importance of his team returning to the path of victory.

Last week’s defeat to Katsina United put an end to the Flying Antelopes’ impressive 10-game unbeaten run.

In their next game at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Enugu on Tuesday, the Coal City club will play against Abia Warriors.

Expressing his thoughts ahead of the game, Ilechukwu shared, “The upcoming match against Abia Warriors will be highly competitive as every team in the NPFL poses a challenge.”

Emphasizing the significance of not underestimating any opponent, Ilechukwu added, “There are no weak teams in this league. Predicting victory without playing the match is futile. Our focus remains on our preparations, channeling positive energy into the upcoming ‘Oriental Derby.’ We aim to move past the Katsina defeat swiftly and approach the next game with a winning mindset.”

At present, Rangers hold the top spot on the league table.
