Femi Otedola urges fulfillment of pledges to the COVID-19 Relief fund

Nigeria’s billionaire business magnate, Femi Otedola, has called on individuals who are yet to fulfill their pledges to the COVID-19 relief fund to do so.

 

Following the initial outbreak of Coronavirus in Nigeria, numerous affluent individuals made public donations to aid in combating the pandemic.

 

The donations were directed to the Central Bank of Nigeria through the Private Sector Coalition Against COVID-19.

 

A list of fulfilled pledges by Nigerians has been published. Otedola, who previously donated N5 billion to the Save The Children Fund, took to his IG page to urge those who are yet to redeem their pledges to contribute.

 

In a statement, he emphasized the importance of matching words with action as a demonstration of integrity and honored his N1 billion donation. He encouraged others to fulfill their pledges for the noble cause that will undoubtedly save lives.
