The 2-0 victory of Rangers over Plateau United has left their technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu, thrilled.
Scoring for the Flying Antelope were Okorie Chidozie and experienced forward Godwin Obaje.
Ilechukwu credited the team’s success to thorough preparation.
“This was a fantastic result for us,” Ilechukwu said in a post-match interview.
He continued, “I am particularly happy with how we performed today as we put in the hard work, especially after struggling in our previous two away matches.
“We responded well to give our supporters something to celebrate, particularly against my former team who had been overly confident before the game. I am grateful to God for the three points.”
With 57 points, Rangers still hold the top spot on the table.
