Head coach of Manchester United, Erik ten Hag, provided insights into the team’s injury situation ahead of their upcoming Premier League match against Brentford.
Ten Hag has confirmed that Lisandro Martinez will be fit for selection.
He also mentioned that Luke Shaw is expected to return before the current season concludes.
Speaking about Martinez, Ten Hag stated, “There is a possibility that he will be back in the squad. His presence has been missed in every game as he brings composure and a sense of calmness to the team.”
“Additionally, his winning mentality is evident and he effectively conveys it to the team, which significantly boosts our performance levels,” he added.
Regarding Shaw, he remarked, “We anticipate his comeback before the season ends, as per the plan. He is progressing well and will rejoin the squad soon.”
