EPL: Carragher Reveals His Preference for Klopp’s Successor at Liverpool

In the upcoming changes at Liverpool, former player Jamie Carragher has voiced his support for Ruben Amorim from Sporting CP to step in as the new manager succeeding Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.

Klopp had previously announced his departure from Liverpool at the end of the current season, opening up discussions about his replacement.

Amorim and Roberto De Zerbi from Brighton are among the names being considered to take over from Klopp.

Carragher believes that Amorim’s track record as a winner makes him the ideal choice to lead Liverpool after Klopp’s successful tenure.

“It seems like Amorim is the frontrunner currently, although I do not possess any privileged information. The reports suggest he is achieving great success this season,” Carragher remarked during an interview with The Boot Room.

“Bringing in a manager who has recently won a title in his previous role could greatly benefit Liverpool. If it comes down to choosing between Amorim and De Zerbi, I lean more towards Amorim.”
