Elections in Ecuador: Correism obtains its best result from Rafael Correa in a first round

The candidate for the presidency of Ecuador for the political movement Citizen Revolution, Luisa González, has reaped this Sunday The best electoral result for Correismo in a first round from the departure of Rafael Correa del Power In 2017.

In 2013, he repeated his triumph with 57.17 % of the votes, defeating Guillermo Lasso, who got 22.68 %. After Correa’s departure, Alianza País supported his former vice president, Lenín Moreno, who reached the second round with 39.35 % of the votes, while Lasso obtained 28.11 %.
