Ekiti: Police arrest culprits involved in last week’s killings


The Ekiti State Police Command said it has arrested some of the suspects involved in last week’s serial killings in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.

There was tension in Ado Ekiti last week after three persons were killed in broad daylight in two days.

The first victim was a commercial motorcyclist who was killed on Tuesday. A popular POS operator known as Alfa was also killed on Thursday in the Adebayo Area, adjacent to the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti.

As if that was not enough, a few hours later, the killers also murdered a trader at Oja Bisi, causing a commotion.

The suspects paraded by the police include notorious cult gangs and some other notorious criminals who allegedly came into Ekiti from Plateau State.
