Efforts to Revitalize APC in Abuja by FCT Minister

Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, the Minister of State in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has committed to reviving the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to have a significant influence on future elections in Abuja.

She made this assurance during a meeting with the FCT chairman, officials, and other party members in Abuja on Wednesday.

Expressing concern over the party’s performance in the 2023 Presidential Election in the territory, Mahmoud remained hopeful that under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu, the party would overcome its obstacles and perform better in upcoming FCT elections.

Commending party members for their patience in the face of challenges, she emphasized the importance of unity among stakeholders to drive the party to success.

In urging members to be committed and supportive of each other, Mahmoud stated, “To achieve success, we must uphold honesty and dedication, supporting one another wholeheartedly.”

She added, “Collectively, with sincerity and dedication, we will foster the growth of our party.”

“By the grace of God, we will succeed,” she expressed optimistically.

Pledging to leverage her experience to secure victory for the party in future FCT elections, Mahmoud cited the successful case of Kano State as an example.
