EFCC: Yahaya Bello Allegedly Withdrew $720,000 from Government Account to Pay Child’s School Fees

Reports emerging state that former Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, has been accused of making a withdrawal of $720,000 from the government account.

Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, revealed that Bello transferred the funds to a Bureau de Change operator for the payment of his child’s school fees in advance.

This information surfaced following the declaration of the ex-Governor as a wanted fugitive by the anti-graft agency.
