LP asserted that Edo State serves as the stronghold of the Obidient Movement, highlighting that for the past two years, Edo has consistently held the title of the movement’s headquarters.

Speaking during a campaign road walk across major cities in Edo in support of their gubernatorial candidate, Olumide Akpata, Ifoh stated, “Edo State stands as the cornerstone of the Obidient Movement in Nigeria. It is our primary support base, and we have put forward the most suitable candidate for the upcoming election. This was evident in the previous general election where the Labour Party secured over 75% of the total votes in the presidential race.”

He continued, “The unwavering support persists as we have heeded the people’s call for the candidate of their choice. Consequently, we urge for a fair electoral process.”
