Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represents Anambra South senatorial district, has expressed his intention to run for the state’s governorship position in 2025. Speaking to journalists at his Nnewi residence, he criticized the incumbent governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, and previous administrations for their lack of developmental policies.

He emphasized his commitment to serve a single term if elected, citing his plans to implement new strategies for the state’s progress within four years. Ubah also outlined his intention to decentralize governance by conducting local government elections within four months of taking office.

Ubah assured the public that he is dedicated to fulfilling his promises, stating that his approach would be different from past politicians. He stressed the importance of having vested interests in the state as a prerequisite for governance.

Highlighting his passion for driving development in Anambra, Ubah underscored his vision to foster economic growth, establish the state as a healthcare hub, and accelerate community development through local government elections. He urged voters to support candidates with genuine dedication and a proven track record, emphasizing his consistent manifesto since 2013.
