Advice from Cubana Chief Priest to Nigerians: Don’t flee when invited by EFCC

In a message to Nigerians, popular socialite Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, has emphasized the importance of not evading summons from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

He reassured that EFCC operatives handle suspects with professionalism, focusing on investigation and prosecution rather than mistreatment.

Cubana Chief Priest highlighted that attempting to run away or resist arrest from the EFCC is futile as they have the ability to locate individuals regardless of their hiding place.

Additionally, he commended the agency for their humane treatment, mentioning that detainees are provided with proper meals during their time in custody.

Through his Instagram platform, Cubana Chief Priest stated: “The Eagle will always fly so high to catch you wherever you hide. No need to run when @officialefcc invites you, just pull up and answer them, they don’t bite, they don’t beat, they only investigate and prosecute. For their cell, toilet & bathroom dey, even breakfast, lunch & dinner is served so tell me why are you running.”

Recent reports revealed that Cubana Chief Priest faced charges related to the misuse of currency and was brought before Justice Kehinde Ogundare at the Federal High Court in Lagos by the EFCC. Despite pleading not guilty, he was granted bail set at N10 million along with two sureties of equal value.
