Deputy Gov Sam Ode’s Stand on Benue APC Crisis and Gov Alia’s Impeachment

Deputy Governor of Benue State, Barrister Sam Ode, has firmly stated that he will not allow himself to be manipulated into succeeding Governor Hyacinth Alia if there is an impeachment move against him.

In a statement released on Wednesday through Alia’s Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, Ode made this declaration during the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders meeting in Makurdi. He emphasized his commitment to the development plans for Zone C under Governor Alia’s administration and urged continuous support from the people of the state for ongoing progress.

APC stakeholders convened at the state government house on Tuesday to address the leadership crisis within the party. Governor Alia, at the meeting, affirmed the party’s peaceful status and cautioned against individuals making divisive remarks that could disrupt the state’s peace and stability.
