In a video that went viral, the monarch, speaking from his undisclosed location, denied any involvement in the killings.

He clarified, saying, “I was greatly surprised to find my name on the wanted list regarding the crime.

“I want to make it clear that I have not been able to return to my kingdom until now. I am not associated with the killings. It goes against my Catholic faith and the principles of humanity.

“I was in a turbulent situation when I received my staff of office on November 16, 2023, and the government is aware of it, so I am puzzled by their reaction.”

The monarch urged authorities to conduct a thorough investigation to identify those responsible for the crime and bring them to justice.
