Deadly Russian Airstrikes Hit Southern Ukraine, Resulting in Multiple Casualties

Reports from Ukrainian officials revealed that overnight Russian airstrikes have caused three fatalities and left 20 individuals injured in the southern region of Dnipropetrovsk.

The governor of the area, Sergiy Lysak, conveyed through Telegram that a five-story building in Dnipro is currently engulfed in flames.

Lysak mentioned, “The building has suffered partial destruction, and there is a possibility of individuals being trapped under the debris. At present, six individuals have sustained injuries.”

He further elaborated that the top two floors of the building, situated in the heart of Dnipro, were obliterated. Additionally, another strike in the Kryvyi Rig district west of Dnipro caused further damage.

Mykola Lukashuk, the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, reported that two individuals lost their lives and 15 others were wounded as a result of the building being targeted.

Furthermore, a woman was fatally injured, and two others, including a 14-year-old girl, were hurt in a separate attack in the Synelnykivskyi area southeast of Dnipro.

Oleksandr Vilkul, the head of the local military administration in Kryvyi Rig, disclosed that two men and a woman sustained injuries due to an airstrike on an important infrastructure facility.

Meanwhile, in the southern Russian region of Belgorod, neighboring Ukraine, the governor mentioned that 25 Ukrainian drones had been intercepted. These drones were reportedly aiming at the primary city within the region, also named Belgorod.
