Former Arsenal great, David Seaman, has shared his belief that Manchester City will emerge victorious in the race for the Premier League title this season, backing them to surpass his old club.
Speaking on his podcast, Seaman Says, the legendary goalkeeper highlighted City’s impressive consistency and their reluctance to drop points as key factors in their favor.
He confidently stated that the battle for the title would be decided by accumulated points rather than goal difference, expressing his trust in Pep Guardiola’s squad to clinch victories in their remaining three matches and secure the coveted top position.
Seaman confidently stated, “I don’t see it coming down to goal difference, honestly. I can’t envision Manchester City not winning every match, that’s my only concern.
He added, “The only tough fixture I anticipate for them is an away game against Tottenham, and considering the form Tottenham is currently in, it’s akin to facing Manchester United.”
Manchester City currently occupies the second spot on the Premier League standings, trailing leaders Arsenal by a single point.
Notably, City enjoys the advantage of having a game in hand.
