Confirmation from Rangers boss, Philippe Clement, has come regarding Leon Balogun’s injury picked up during their recent victory over Kilmarnock at home.
Balogun, who had a strong first-half performance, was replaced by Ben Davies after the break.
Clement disclosed post-match that the Nigeria international suffered a muscle injury.
“Yes, Balogun was injured; hence, I had to make the substitution. Hopefully, it’s just a minor muscle issue,” Clement was reported as saying by Rangers Review.
“We’ll assess in the next couple of days, but he was struggling too much to carry on.”
The 35-year-old has featured in 14 league games for the Light Blues this season.
