Confirmation of Bola Tinubu’s Return by Nigerian Government

In a recent development, the Nigerian presidency has officially announced that President Bola Tinubu will be arriving back in Nigeria from Europe on Wednesday. Tinubu’s special adviser on information and strategy, Bayo Onanuga, made this disclosure in a social media post shared on Tuesday.

The statement read, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, accompanied by his team, is scheduled to return to Nigeria tomorrow from his trip to Europe.”

This trip commenced on April 22 when Tinubu departed from Abuja, the nation’s capital, to the Netherlands for an official visit.

Contrary to speculations, the Federal Government clarified that there are no plans for a foreign military base in Nigeria. The presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, confirmed that the President’s visit to The Netherlands was at the invitation of Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

Following his engagements in The Netherlands, Tinubu proceeded to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he participated in a special World Economic Forum meeting on April 28 and 29.
