Coach Dogo Pleased with Kwara United’s Dominant Victory in President Federation Cup

Following Kwara United’s impressive 4-1 triumph over Rovers FC in the President Federation Cup Round of 64 clash, the team’s technical advisor, Kabiru Dogo, expressed his satisfaction.

Dogo highlighted the significance of the win, noting that it marked the first time his side had secured such a commanding lead in a match this season.

The hero of the match was Emmanuel Ogbole, who netted a hat-trick, while Godwin Oshagbemi contributed with another goal.

Furthermore, Dogo emphasized the importance of not underestimating any opponent in the tournament.

Reflecting on the match, Dogo stated in a post-game interview, “I am pleased with how effectively we converted our opportunities. This is the first occasion this season where we have scored four goals in a single match.”

He added, “We have a clear objective in the Federation Cup, and we will approach each game with the same level of focus. No team will be taken lightly. Every match is crucial in this competition.”

Kwara United’s upcoming fixture is a highly-anticipated NPFL clash against Rivers United scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, 2024.
