Chelsea’s Coach Pochettino Sets Sights on European Spot Following Victory against West Ham in EPL

Following their impressive 5-0 win over West Ham United, Chelsea’s manager Mauricio Pochettino expressed his ambitions for European qualification, highlighting its importance for both the team and players this season.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Pochettino emphasized the team’s commitment to securing a European berth, underscoring its significance for the club’s progression and growth.

With goals from Nicolas Jackson (2), Cole Palmer, Conor Gallagher, and Noni Madueke, Chelsea secured the victory at Stamford Bridge over West Ham.

Looking ahead, Pochettino stated, “I have maintained from the start of the season that as Chelsea, we should aim to win. The team is now focused on preparing for the upcoming Saturday fixture.”

He added, “We must demonstrate maturity, maintain our momentum, and strive for improvement in every match. Our objective is to secure a place in Europe. It would be beneficial for both the team and players to participate in European competitions this season.”
