Bola Tinubu Emphasizes the Importance of Collaboration in Addressing Global Challenges

President Bola Tinubu stresses the significance of collaboration and inclusivity in achieving global food security, tackling common challenges, and fostering innovation across various interests to pave the way for a more stable and prosperous world.

Participating in a high-level panel session at the World Economic Forum Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, President Tinubu highlighted the essence of “collaboration and inclusivity,” particularly concerning Africa, in shaping a future marked by hope, peace, and progress for all.

He underscored the critical need for capital mobilization to drive economic growth and related progress in Africa, emphasizing the rich resources on the continent that should be reflected in its economic realities.

“The imperative of capital formation to stimulate the economy, support agriculture, ensure food security, drive innovation, and advance technology must be an inclusive global initiative. No individual should be left behind,” President Tinubu remarked.

Expressing optimism about the world’s acknowledgment of the importance of cooperation, especially in light of Africa’s population growth, President Tinubu stressed the necessity of aligning the continent’s diverse resources with economic opportunities through collaborative efforts.

Urging global leaders to focus on developments in the Sahel region, President Tinubu highlighted the need for a comprehensive understanding of the prevailing challenges and advocated for collaborative approaches to finding sustainable solutions.

“We urge the global community to closely monitor the Sahel region and neighboring countries. As the Chairman of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government, Nigeria has utilized its significant influence to discourage unconstitutional changes in government and facilitate the easing of sanctions. It is essential for us to promote trade over conflict within the region to foster growth, stability, and economic prosperity for the people of West Africa,” he emphasized.
