Benue Community Shows Appreciation to Corps Member with 80 Tubers of Yam

Members of Pila community in Benue state presented 80 tubers of yam to Iyanuoluwa Moyinoluwa, a serving corps member, as a token of appreciation after she funded the construction of a borehole water system for them.

 

Iyanuoluwa, who is currently carrying out her national service in the state, undertook the initiative to address the prolonged water scarcity in the community.

 

The water system, funded and erected by Iyanuoluwa, was commissioned on Thursday, February 21st, and the community expressed their gratitude by presenting her with the tubers of yam. Additional photos can be seen below.
