Bello El-Rufai, son of El-Rufai, states Tinubu is superior to Peter Obi

Expressing his views, Bello El-Rufai, the representative of Kaduna North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, stated that President Bola Tinubu outshines Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

El-Rufai highlighted Tinubu’s extensive political experience which, in his opinion, makes him the most qualified for the presidency.

During an appearance on Seun Okinbaloye’s podcast, Bello emphasized Tinubu’s deliberate preparedness for the presidency, as opposed to being an accidental leader.

Sharing his perspective, Bello remarked, “I believe Asiwaju is the most seasoned politician we’ve seen as president, given the numerous accidental presidents we’ve had in the past. He meticulously planned for this role.”

“This explains why some of us did not align with the Governor Obi bandwagon. It’s not fair to draw comparisons between Anambra and Lagos,” he added.

Asserting his preference, Bello stated, “It is undeniable that Tinubu surpasses Peter Obi. This isn’t a denigration of Peter Obi, but rather an acknowledgement that Lagos is more developed than Anambra.”

“In my view, Peter Obi does not measure up to the caliber of Fashola or my father. While Anambra has made strides in the education sector, the state has consistently excelled in WAEC exams,” Bello further elaborated.

Reflecting on the current dynamics within the Labour Party, he expressed his reservations stating, “The party seems to put excessive faith in one individual to fix all the issues. However, a collective effort is essential for real progress to be made.”
