Reports indicate that Burnley’s boss, Vincent Kompany, is on the verge of joining Bayern Munich after a “verbal agreement” was reached.
Sources suggest that official negotiations have commenced between the two clubs.
Bayern, who are in the market for a replacement for Thomas Tuchel ahead of the upcoming season, have now turned their focus to Kompany.
Although no final deal has been sealed yet, discussions are described as “concrete and optimistic.”
Despite his contract with Burnley running until the summer of 2028, Kompany is keen on the move to Bayern, where a verbal understanding is said to be in place.
