Bandits kill school principal, kidnap his wife, son in Kaduna

The village of Kuriga, located along the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highway in Kaduna, was recently targeted by suspected bandits. Tragically, the bandits killed school principal Idris Abu Sufyan and also kidnapped his wife and their son. These criminals violently invaded the village on Thursday night, causing great anguish and distress.

The news of the principal’s untimely death was shared by his friend, Sabiu Gayam, on social media. Gayam expressed deep sorrow over the incident and conveyed condolences to the family and community of the deceased. He emphasized the significant impact that the late principal had on education and development in the country, highlighting his dedication and commitment to nurturing the students.

Upon contacting the Police Public Relations Officer, Mansir Hassan, it was confirmed that security authorities are actively involved in addressing the situation. Hassan assured that all efforts are being made to secure the release of the abducted wife and son, as well as to bring the perpetrators to justice.
