The Tampa Police Department has apprehended three individuals believed to be involved in the murder of the renowned US rapper Julio Foolio.

Reports from NewsNow reveal that Foolio was fatally shot during his 26th birthday festivity on June 23, 2024.

On Monday, in an official statement, the police department disclosed the detainment of Alicia Andrews, aged 21; Isaiah Chance Jr., aged 21; and Sean Gathright, aged 18.

These suspects face charges of premeditated first-degree murder with a firearm and conspiracy to commit premeditated first-degree murder with a firearm.

Furthermore, Sean Gathright has been accused of tampering with physical evidence.

The authorities have also issued warrants for the arrest of two additional suspects, Davion Murphy, aged 27, and Rashad Murphy, aged 30.

The duo is sought for charges of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and three counts each of attempted first-degree murder.

According to police statements, “The five suspects collaborated to carry out the rapper’s murder between June 21 and 23.”

“They journeyed from Jacksonville to Tampa on June 22 in two separate vehicles with the intent to hunt down and eliminate Jones as part of a continuing rival gang conflict in Jacksonville,” the police asserted.

On June 23, law enforcement mentioned that Chance and Andrews trailed Foolio and his companions to a hotel, where the rapper lost his life, and three others were wounded.

The accused individuals purportedly have affiliations with two distinct gangs, namely ‘ATK’ and ‘1200,’ while Foolio was allegedly associated with the ‘6 Block’ gang.
