Appointment of Minister Ekperikpe Ekpo as Co-Chair of NCDMB by Tinubu


President Bola Tinubu has given the nod for Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), to serve as the co-chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, NCDMB.

In an announcement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, on Thursday, it was highlighted that the appointment aligns with Tinubu’s dedication to establishing a more efficient, targeted, and consistent approval process for unique oil and gas projects within the nation.

The statement further emphasized that this move is aimed at ensuring effective oversight of the gas sector of the country’s assets.

Ajuri also emphasized the President’s unwavering commitment to unlocking Nigeria’s vast gas potential in order to drive industrial development, foster job creation, and promote sustainable economic growth.
