Ancelotti’s Thoughts on Real Madrid’s Victory Over Bayern Munich in UCL

Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, praised his squad, calling them the “best” following their comeback win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-final second leg on Wednesday.

The first leg ended in a 2-2 draw in Germany, with Vinicius Jr securing the draw for Los Blancos.

At the Bernabeu, Joselu netted two late goals to secure the victory, after Alphonso Davies surprised the Bernabeu in the second half.

“I believe we played well, but to be frank, we had chances to dominate the match.

“We showed character to respond when they scored. It’s a common occurrence here at the Bernabeu with our fans. With their support, we can achieve the unexpected,” Ancelotti shared with TNT Sports.

Regarding his players’ mindset, he remarked, “Unbelievable. I am truly thankful to them; they put in a lot of effort. I believe this is the strongest squad I’ve had in my career.”

Real Madrid will now face Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga rivals, in the final on June 1.
