The distinguished Cole family from Victoria Island, Lagos, released a statement disavowing the supposed traditional marriage ceremony between their son and Wofai Ewa.
In the statement, the family made it clear that they were not informed of any marriage plans and did not provide their consent or approval for the union.
In response, Taiwo took to his Instagram account and shared pictures from his wedding, emphasizing that he has found a wonderful wife and is firm in his decision.
He expressed, “Having found a good wife, I am resolute in my choice.”
In a parallel reaction to the tumult encircling her marriage, Wofai posted on her Instagram, writing, “Let us be guided by love.”
