Throughout the competition, Ajayi has accumulated 570 minutes on the field for the Super Eagles, featuring in all six of their AFCON 2023 fixtures.
Displaying consistency, the 33-year-old defender has formed a strong defensive partnership alongside vice-captain William Troost-Ekong and Calvin Bassey, fortifying the Super Eagles at the back.
