NewsNow has reported that the Atalanta standout, Ademola Lookman, is in the running for the prestigious Serie A Player of the Month award for April.
Joining Lookman on the shortlist are notable players such as Luis Alberto from Lazio, Albert Gudmundsson of Genoa, AS Roma’s Paulo Dybala, Napoli’s Matteo Politano, and Hakan Calhanoglu from Inter Milan.
In the previous month, the 26-year-old talented player achieved one goal along with three assists, with the assists coming in matches against Monza (twice) and Cagliari (once).
The sole goal that Lookman netted was scored in a match against Empoli this past weekend.
In his 27 appearances in the league this season, Lookman has managed to score nine goals and provide six assists while playing for La Dea.
Currently positioned at sixth place in the Serie A table, Atalanta is striving to secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League.
