Police in Ogun arrest suspected killer and seize gun and axes

Authorities in Ogun State have apprehended Adekunle Adebajo, aged 34, in relation to the murder of a victim who was both shot and hacked to death on Ijagun Road in the Ijebu Ode region of Ogun State.

The deceased, known as “Mosquito,” was discovered in a pool of blood with his left hand severed and taken by the assailants.

In a statement released by the police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, Adekunle Adebajo, also known as “Kunle Polly,” is believed to be one of the perpetrators and was arrested in Isiwo, Ijebu, based on public information.

Following a tip-off, detectives swiftly acted and apprehended the suspect at his hideout.

During questioning, Kunle Polly confessed to being a member of the Eiye Confraternity.

At his residence, law enforcement uncovered a Beretta pistol with six live rounds of ammunition, two UTC axes, and mystical objects.

The suspect is currently undergoing initial interrogation at the Igbeba Division in Ijebu Ode.
