A man has been arrested in Wales for dressing up as Death in a hospital. The individual, aged around 26, was seen dressed in black and carrying an apparently fake scythe at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd hospital while staring at patients, visitors and healthcare staff.

Given what happened, the Police and firefighters were forced to intervene to get the individual down, which caused moments of tension in the place. Four patrol cars and a fire crew were sent to arrest the individual after he remained on the roof for about 50 minutes.

The young man, identified as Leon Gillespie, pleaded guilty to causing annoyance or disturbance without valid reason, as well as refusing to leave when ordered to do so by an officer.

A fine of more than 400 pounds

Therefore, He was fined £200 by Llandudno Magistrates’ Court for the incident at the hospital. In addition, other previous small thefts were also recognized for which he also had to pay other amounts.

In total, the financial obligations amounted to approximately £450, including fine, compensation and costs. According to local media, dDuring the hearing, he maintained that his clothing did not represent Death, but rather a black bird. Finally, the case ended with the payment of the amounts mentioned above and without imprisonment.
