31 Suspects Apprehended by NDLEA in Kwara State
Over the course of a three-day operation, operatives from the Kwara State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully apprehended 31 individuals on suspicion of being involved in drug-related activities.
During this operation, a total of 270 kilograms of various types of drugs were seized by the command.
Speaking at the command's headquarters in Ilọrin, the state commander, Mohammed Ibrahim, announced the commencement of the second phase of a special operation known as "Operation Gbalumo/Operation Tap Root."
Mohammed Ibrahim highlighted that through a joint effort with the state government, the command has initiated this special operation with the aim of significantly reducing both the demand for and supply of drugs.
