Governor Fubara declares victory over adversaries in IYC meeting
During a gathering at the Government House in Port Harcourt with members of the Ijaw Youth Congress (IYC), Governor Siminalayi Fubara proudly announced that he has overcome those who sought to derail his administration’s one-year anniversary celebrations.
In a message conveyed by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, Governor Fubara encouraged the IYC to uphold the values instilled by the late Major Isaac Adaka Boro, whose heroic actions are commemorated annually on May 16th. He urged the youth group to commemorate the occasion peacefully, emphasizing the importance of being agents of liberation for the state.
