32 passengers narrowly evade tragedy in Ogun multi-vehicle accident

A group of 32 passengers managed to escape a fatal incident on Saturday during a multi-vehicle accident on the Iju bridge along Ota-Idiroko road in Ogun State. Involved in the accident were four vehicles bearing registration numbers AAA729YC Mazda, LND85YA TOYOTA HIACE, TTN58ND BAJAJ, and a SINO TRUCK without a registration number. It was reported by NewsNow that the collision happened around 8:55 am and included 12 adult males and 20 adult females, among whom 17 sustained injuries. Florence Okpe, the spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Ogun, attributed the cause of the accident to the SINO TRUCK's excessive speed while attempting to navigate a bend at the Iju bridge.
