Securing a coveted place in the men's table tennis event at the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games is Olajide Omotayo.
Omotayo clinched his spot after a dominant 4-0 victory over Saheed Idowu from Congo-Brazzaville in the semi-finals of the qualifying tournament held in Kigali, Rwanda.
This will mark Omotayo's second appearance at the prestigious Olympic Games.
Meanwhile, Offiong Edem also booked her ticket to Paris 2024 with a hard-earned 4-2 victory against Fadwa Garci from Tunisia in the women's category.
Edem, aged 37, will be participating in her fifth Olympics, showcasing her skill and experience on the international stage.
The ongoing qualifying tournament is set to conclude on Saturday.
