The father of Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker passes away – NewsNow Nigeria

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Pa Suleimon Atanda Obasa, the father of the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa. In a statement released on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Eromosele Ebhomele, the Speaker confirmed the sad news. The statement revealed that the 83-year-old businessman breathed his last in the early hours of Tuesday. Pa Suleimon Atanda Obasa is survived by his wives, children, and grandchildren, including the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly. His final rites will be observed at 4pm in the Agege (Old Abeokuta Motor Road) area of Lagos State, following Islamic traditions.
