Judgment: Man Receives Prison Term and Community Service for Cybercrime

Man identified as Tunmise Aluko was sentenced to one year in prison by Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke of the Federal High Court in Lagos for engaging in cybercrime. In addition to the prison term, he was given the option of paying a fine of N300,000 or serving 100 hours of community service. Aluko was charged with false statements and impersonation, to which he pleaded guilty. The prosecutor, Mrs Chineye Okezie, provided evidence supporting the charges, which was accepted by the court.
