Super Eagles top stars and Finidi on same page, no disagreements
Debunking rumors, Finidi George, the head coach of the Super Eagles, clarified that there are no strained relationships between him and some of the top stars of the team.
During the friendlies against Ghana and Mali in March, there were reports of a fallout between Finidi and players like Ademola Lookman and Sadiq Umar.
Lookman made appearances as a substitute in both matches, while Umar did not get a chance to play at all.
Stating that he maintains a good rapport with all his players, the 53-year-old mentioned, "I have been part of the team for 20 months, always maintaining a cordial relationship with all the players, even as an assistant coach."
