Adamawa Police arrest 5 gangsters from wanted list
Five individuals known as Shila Boys, a notorious group involved in robbing residents of their possessions, especially phones and other small devices, were apprehended by operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command.
These suspects had been sought after by the police for some time, according to the command.
During regular operations in criminal hideouts and high-risk areas such as Yola Market, Wuro Hausa, and Damare in Yola Town, Yola South Local Government Area, the arrests were made, stated a release by police spokesperson, Suleiman Nguroje, on Wednesday.
"The individuals captured are associated with Shilla gang activities and have been on the Command's watchlist. There is an ongoing investigation to ensure that justice is served," the statement emphasized.
