Recently, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Ekiti State showcased 14 individuals believed to be part of an employment scam fraud group that tricked the public with counterfeit job offers. In a public display held in Ado-Ekiti, the State Commandant of NSCDC, Agboola Sunday, disclosed that the Counter Terrorists Unit of the command detained the fraudsters who specialized in deceiving people through bogus job prospects. Reportedly, the victims were confined within a location in the state and coerced into giving money under the false pretense of securing employment.
