North-East governors express concerns over lack of federal government presence in the region
On Saturday, the North-East Governors’ Forum raised concerns about the absence of the Federal Government in their region.
They emphasized that the region has been continually neglected.
The governors, in a communique signed by NEGF Chairman Prof Babagana Zulum during their 10th meeting in Bauchi State, called on the Federal Government to prioritize the region to facilitate its development.
Highlighting the issue, the communique stated, "The Forum reiterates its concern over the apparent neglect of the North-East in the distribution of Federal Government capital projects."
