Niger State Governor Ensures Support for Farmers on Government Lands to Enhance Food Security
Ensuring food security in Niger State, Governor Mohammed Umar Bago has affirmed that individuals farming on uncultivated government lands will not be subjected to eviction.
During an inspection of government lands along Mokwa road in Mokwa local government, Governor Bago emphasized the commitment of his administration to utilizing all government-owned lands for farming to advance the state's food security agenda.
Assuring farmers, he stated, "People cultivating on government lands will not be evicted; instead, they will be provided with additional support. All government lands will be put to productive use."
