Two NPC Commissioners Officially Sworn in by Tinubu
President Bola Tinubu administered the oath of office to two new federal commissioners of the National Population Commission, NPC, on Monday.
The individuals who took the oath are Fasuwa Johnson Johnson representing Ogun State and Amidu Tadese Raheem from Osun State.
The swearing-in ceremony was held in the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja. It preceded the start of the weekly Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting.
This swearing-in follows the induction of 17 other commissioners in March.
During the ongoing FEC meeting, a minute of silence was observed to pay tribute to two former ministers - Professor Fabian Osuji, a former Minister of Education, and Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, a former Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, before entering closed-door discussions.
