313 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria


On Sunday, May 24, 2020, Nigeria reported 313 new cases of COVID-19.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed that 148 cases were recorded in Lagos,  36 in FCT, 27 in Rivers, 19 in Edo,  13 in Kano, 12 in Ogun, 11 in Ebonyi, 8 in Nasarawa, 8 in Delta, 7 in Oyo, 6 in Plateau, 5 in Kaduna, 4 in Kwara, 3 in Akwa Ibom, 3 in Bayelsa, 2 in Niger, and 1 in Anambra State.
 

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria now stands at 7839, with 2263 patients discharged from various isolation centers and 226 recorded deaths.
