Visiting three state governors, Super Eagles winger Moses Simon received a warm welcome during his visits to Benue, Kaduna, and Plateau states this week.
Simon, who was a key member of the Super Eagles squad that secured a silver medal at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire, was applauded by Governor Hyacinth Alia for portraying the positive image of Benue state during the tournament.
Born and raised in Kaduna, the former KAA Gent star was also received by Governor Uba Sani, who expressed gratitude on behalf of the state’s residents for his efforts in empowering youth through his Simoiben Academy.
The speedster also received a warm reception from Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State, who commended the Super Eagles’ performance and thanked Simon for his dedication to Nigeria and his close ties to Plateau State.
