Zamfara United Introduces Abdullahi Adamu as Head Coach


For the upcoming 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) season, Zamfara United has officially appointed Abdullahi Adamu as their new head coach.

The club solidified the decision as Adamu put pen to paper at the club house in Gusau, where he was subsequently unveiled and introduced to the press.

With previous stints at Katsina United and Wikki Tourists, the young tactician is set to bring his extensive experience to Zamfara United.

In gratitude, Adamu acknowledged the club’s management for entrusting him with the leadership role.

“I attribute all gratitude and praise to the Almighty Allah for this opportunity. I also extend my thanks to the State Government and the stakeholders for facilitating this appointment,” he expressed to the club’s media team.

“I am truly grateful for being considered deserving of this responsibility. I am committed to showcasing my abilities and striving for success with the team. We have already commenced work and will spare no effort in pursuing the team’s objectives for the season.

“Zamfara United holds a significant place among Nigeria’s football clubs, and I, along with the entire coaching staff, pledge to work diligently towards restoring the team’s former glory.”
