During the EID Kabir celebrations, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara has urged residents to continue fervently praying for peace and stability in the state.
In a statement released by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris, it was emphasized that many individuals had plans for this season but did not live to see this day, and gratitude was expressed for being counted among the living by Allah’s grace.
The statement conveyed the message to keep praying to Allah for guidance, protection, and progress in their lives and communities, while encouraging the Muslim Ummah to engage in sober reflection during the festive period to draw closer to Allah and maintain piety and kindness towards one another.
As a political party, the APC pledged to maintain close ties with the people through acts of generosity and goodwill, and on the subject of the prevailing insecurity challenges, they urged everyone to intensify prayers for divine intervention.
Furthermore, the party called upon Muslim faithful to offer prayers for unity, peace, and understanding to address insecurity not only within the state but also beyond.
